Weekend Action on Kwesé Sports
Premier League, NFL Divisional Playoffs, NBA and more this weekend on Kwesé Sports.
A fabulous weekend awaits Kwesé Sports viewers.
Chelsea are only one point shy of Man United in the Premier League chasing pack, with Manchester City well clear at the top.
This week Antonio Conte’s men play 8th-placed Leicester.
Interestingly that makes it a battle between the reigning Premier League champions and the 2016 winners. Conte has joked that he operates on a shoestring budget.
He has a point, in a recently released list of the most valuable players in the world, Chelsea only has Eden Hazard in the top 20, coming in at 17th and worth €119.6m. Will he be the difference when they face the Foxes: Chelsea vs Leicester (KFS, 13 January at 17:00 CAT). Matters in the NFL are getting mighty interesting as we head into the Divisional Playoffs, which are essentially the quarterfinals. Eight teams fight it out to book a place in the Conference Championships, which act as the semifinals for the Super Bowl. Tune in to KS2 at 23:30 CAT on Saturday (13 January) and at 20:00 CAT on Sunday (14 January) for that epic action.
The weekend also sees the start of the five-match cricket ODI series between old foes Australia and England (KS2, 14 January at 5:15 CAT). England took on the chin in the test series, but will look to redeem themselves in the shorter format of the game. And, for something a little different check out the Formula E: Marrakesh E-Prix Main Race (KFS, 14 January at 17:00 CAT). We’ve seen the future – and it’s electric! The historic city of Marrakesh, Morocco, hosts the second race of the season. Enjoy the speed, performance and class of Formula E on Kwesé Sports. As always Kwesé Sports is bursting with NBA action. Tune into KS1 on Sunday (14 January) from 17:45 CAT for a bunch of great games that’ll take you through to the wee hours of the morning.
And, if you’re a KFS viewer then check out our NBA Sundays clash (Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks, KFS, 14 January at 20:00 CAT). For something a little different there’s tomorrow night’s encounter: Philadelphia 76ers vs Boston Celtics (KS1, 11 January at 22:00 CAT), which is being played at London’s famous O2 Arena. Joel Embiid, the 76ers star centre, will no doubt shake things up with his outrageous tweets, and gather a whole bundle of new English fans.
