African artists around the world are celebrating the casting of African actors in Hollywood blockbusters such as The Lion King and Black Panther in memorable roles.
The latest edition to the string of Africans living out their dreams is Nigerian comedian, Emmanuella Samuel. The 7-year-old comedian who rose to fame three years ago after her Youtube skits went viral, has landed a role in a Disney Hollywood movie.

Emmanuella’s skits on the Mark Angel Comedy Show have reached 1 million subscribers on Youtube, a milestone for African Youtubers. Her talent is being recognised far outside the continent, in 2016 she won several awards- Best New Comedienne and Princess of Comedy awards at the Afro-Australia Music and Movie Awards in Australia.
